Each section, where the modules are stored may have their own background image. The section configuration can be done from backend, see image below.

Sections are:top-a, top-b, top-c, top-d, top-e, top-f, main, bottom-a, bottom-b, bottom-c, bottom-d, bottom-e, bottom-f
